Q: Can the hotel provide banquet items such as tables, chairs, and linens? If so, is there a fee to utilize these items?
A: Yes, these items will come complimentary when you book your wedding at Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Spa.
Q: Is there a fee for an outdoor ceremony? What is the cost?
A: The ceremony fee is $2,000, which includes white garden chairs, a wireless lapel microphone for the officiate, and indoor backup space in case of inclement weather.
Q: Will we receive any discount on sleeping rooms?
A: We offer a discounted room rate with a room block of 10 rooms when you book your wedding reception at Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Spa.
Q: What special amenities can the hotel offer for the bride and groom?
A: We offer complimentary, deluxe wedding night accommodations for bride and groom, champagne, chocolates, and turndown service on your wedding night, with minimum spend.
Q: Can I take my engagement pictures on property?
A: Yes, when you book your wedding with us, you will have the use of the resort grounds for engagement or bridal pictures.
Q: Is there a backup plan for rain or inclement weather?
A: Yes, we block indoor event space for all of our outdoor functions.
Q: Can I bring in my own alcohol?
A: Due to Texas laws, no outside liquor may be brought in.
Q: Can I create my own menu?
A: We offer a wide variety of wedding menus to suit all tastes and preferences. If our existing plans do not meet your needs, our experienced team will be happy to work with you fulfill your requests.
Q: Can I taste all the food before the wedding?
A: Of course. A complete tasting of all the selected menu items will be scheduled several weeks prior to your wedding. At that time, we can make any necessary adjustments.
Q: How long will my reception last?
A: Generally, a wedding reception is planned for four hours. You can extend the time if desired. Your wedding specialist will advise any additional costs for the additional time.
Q: Can I have an open bar at the wedding?
A: You can elect to have an open bar, a limited selection of wine and beer, or a cash bar. Your wedding specialist will advise you on the costs and inclusions for each. Choices include assorted cocktails, bottled American & imported beers, assorted soft drinks, mineral water and juices. A Bartender will be provided to serve your guests.
Q: Do you have suggested vendors for flowers, music, photography, etc?
A: We work on a regular basis with several vendors. It would be our pleasure to provide recommendations and assistance with your music, photography, videography, transportation and floral needs. Flowers can be delivered and received at the hotel on the day of your wedding reception.
Q: Can I host a morning-after brunch or a rehearsal dinner at Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Spa?
A: Certainly. We have several locations that would be appropriate for these occasions.
Q: Are taxes and gratuities included in the pricing?
A: A 24% service charge will be applied to all food and beverage items. Sales tax, currently 8.25%, will be added to all food prices and miscellaneous fees. Taxes are subject to change without notification.Please remember, pricing is not final until a signed contract is returned to your wedding specialist.
Q: Can my guests have a late check-out the morning after the wedding?
A: We will try and accommodate your guests’ requests, however, this will be dependant upon the overall occupancy of the hotel on the day in question.
Q: Can I decorate the reception room?
A: Generally, yes. There will be certain limitations in some rooms, which your wedding specialist can review with you. Allow us to give you ideas and suggestions that have successfully worked in the past.
